Dr. Zev Zelenko: “Zinc Is The Bullet — It Kills The Virus.”

“Zinc is the bullet – it kills the virus,” says Dr. Zev Zelenko in the video below. However the ‘bullet’ cannot get to its target without a gun, or a delivery system, he explains. The delivery system he used with great success was hydroxychloroquine – until Governor Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order blocking pharmacies from dispensing it, in effect targeting Dr. Zelenko’s patients because he was the only one using it at the time. This pushed him to find a new ‘gun’ or zinc delivery system.

Dr. Zelenko is famous for treating his Covid patients in the small community of Kiryas Joel, N.Y. with a combination of Hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, and zinc sulfate very early in the pandemic. In an open letter to other medical practitioners and President Trump describing the success of this treatment protocol in the pre-hospital setting, he stated:

The rationale for my treatment plan is as follows. I combined the data available from China and South Korea with the recent study published from France (sites available on request). We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well tolerated, hence the risk to the patient is low.

Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen.

Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10% of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea.

In sum, my urgent recommendation is to initiate treatment in the outpatient setting as soon as possible in accordance with the above. Based on my direct experience, it prevents acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), prevents the need for hospitalization and saves lives. [1]

What Dr. Zelenko found as a suitable alternative zinc delivery system, otherwise known as an ionophore (a substance able to transport particular ions across a lipid membrane in a cell) was quercetin, which can be purchased over the counter. He says in the video:

That was one of the most significant realizations in my life, and probably in humanity.

Why do I say that? Because now there was a cure for tyranny.

There are two risk factors for dying from COVID: It’s the doctor you choose and the government you live under. Besides that, there’s no reason a person should die from COVID.

Dr. Zelenko partnered Vitamin C with quercetin to make it a powerful zinc ionophore, and added vitamin D to his new treatment protocol. He said of Vitamin D:

…the studies all show – Vitamin D3 levels between 50 and 70 virtually eliminate hospitalizations or admissions in the intensive care unit. It optimizes their immune system…so you need Vitamin D, then you need Zinc, which is the bullet. And then to form a functioning gun, you need Vitamin C and quercetin…

What About the Variants?

Dr. Zelenko had this to say about variants:

…the Omicron variant or the Delta variant or any other of the variants – they’re all the same to me. The reason why I say that is: the difference in those variants is in the shape of the spike protein and its ability to get it into the cell. My focus has never been the virus getting into the cell — my focus has been to stop the virus from making copies of its genetic material — or viral replication. And that is the same pathway for all the variants.

By blocking the common pathway — the common denominator — called RNA-dependent RNA-polymerase — you actually inhibit all the variants simultaneously.

That’s why zinc, together with a zinc ionophore, is absolutely crucial. Because zinc blocks that enzyme. [3]
